Head Coach: Miles Martin
It is an honor to be the head coach of the boys' soccer program at SkyView Academy going on 14 years now. I have over 30 years of playing and coaching experience at various levels and in numerous places including high school, club, and college from New York, to Europe, to Colorado with much of my youth spent playing and coaching in the Coerver system. While at Cortland State University, I received a Bachelor of Science in Education with an emphasis in Coaching. It is with great importance that here at SkyView Academy, we further develop our athletes into life-long learners and honorable leaders through the beautiful game.
Assistant Coach: Hannah Sunberg
I am so excited and thankful to get to continue as the assistant men's and head women's high school soccer coach here at SVA. I have been coaching at SVA since 2013. I grew up playing soccer here in Colorado for various clubs and the Longmont High School Trojans and went on to play in college at Colorado Christian University. I teach 7th-grade history at SVA in addition to coaching.
My prior coaching experiences include various sports camps and the SVA middle school boys team; as well as through using soccer as a means of outreach locally and around the world through Athletes in Action both coaching and playing. I am thankful for the way soccer brings people together, provides an opportunity to work hard, compete, and build character, and the joy that can be experienced through it. I look forward to and hope to be able to have a role in the impact soccer may have in the lives of the young people I'm coaching, as it has in my own life.
