I was a 3-year cross country and track varsity runner in high school and continued recreational running in college and afterwards. After spending 8 years in the Air Force, I currently work for Lockheed Martin.

Our family has been at SkyView since the school opened and I helped coach my kids during their elementary Landsharks careers. Now I have an SVA graduate and Mitch is a senior running distance events and qualified for the State XC meet in 2023 and 2024.

I’m excited to be coaching the MS track team again and building on what we accomplished over the past few years. I look forward to watching the kids grow, compete, and enjoy both the individual and team aspects of track.

Hello! My name is Erin Hoff and I have always had a deep love for middle school track and field. That’s because in 7th grade, I began my own track and field journey by coming out for sprints by the encouragement of my friends. From there, I couldn’t get enough of track, continuing into high school and in college.

In high school, I had the honor of earning Academic All-State, All-League, and also attended state for the 4x200 relay and the 4x400 relay. In college, I specialized in sprints and relays at CSU-Pueblo. There, I earned multiple league academic honor roll awards and had several conference winning performances in the 4x400m relay.

Off track, I love baking, gardening, and being outdoors in our beautiful state. I couldn’t have gotten as far as I did without the encouragement of those around me and my amazing coaches. This year, I am super excited to be able to give back that opportunity to the SkyView community. I hope to encourage our athletes to set goals for their own athletic journeys and grow in healthy habits.

My love for running started early with soccer and triathlons. In high school, I ran Varsity track and cross country for 4 years, anchored the state champion track distance medley relay, and finished top 10 in state for cross country and track distance events. I then played D1 soccer in college as a midfielder. My track/cross country team and coaches meant a lot to me in high school and I am excited to support our SVA MS track team.

My biggest priorities for SVA MS sprinters: promote whole body health, practice to improve fundamental form, encourage positive team culture, and spark even more joy with running! Outside of running, I’m Mom to two sons at SVA, author of The Best Seller, recently retired medical device consultant, current volunteer for a number of organizations, and occasional SVA substitute for various subjects (science and math are my favorites).
